The Oasis is a family-friendly, vacation rental located in Lake Country, Okanagan, BC. The property is just steps away from Lake Okanagan and is neighbours with many incredible wineries and golf courses. We wanted to create a brand that spoke to a target demographic of families that would spend several weeks at the lake and take advantage of the nearby amenities. The brand uses watercolour textures inspired by the movement of the lake and a script typeface that gives a personable, host touch. The colour palette is inspired by nature and time spent at the lake but in a muted way that matches the interior design of the property. This visual identity makes this property immediately stand out from competitors on platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO while giving the professional polish you’d expect to find at a luxury hotel. This allows the property owners to charge a higher price point to renters, and generate higher revenue on their investment.

An inviting, modern coastal brand with a personal touch that stops the scroll and invites guests to choose a vacation rental for their family’s summer holiday

design notes

Using watercolour textures, illustrated icons and a handwritten accent font it made the brand feel inviting and personal. Using muted earthy neutrals, inspired by the Okanagan, spoke to the target audience while also creating a serene and inviting atmosphere.
