All kinds of questions and answers

  • Every business has their own unique needs, and that’s exactly how I approach my projects.

After a discovery call, you’ll receive a bespoke proposal that outlines how we can work together to reach your unique business goals.

For reference, my branding services start at $3,750 and my website services start at $2,800, exclusive of tax.

Digital and print collateral projects are quoted on a per project basis.

  • I understand branding is a large investment, especially for small businesses.

When I create your proposal, I’ll break your project down into phases so you can plan ahead and get a sense for what each step will cost. For example, we can focus on your brand in phase one, website in phase two and collateral in phase three.

To move forward, I will require a deposit to hold your space in my calendar.

From there, you’ll have the option to pay for the balance of the current phase in one, two or three monthly instalments.

For easy planning and to ensure there’s no surprises, project invoices will be sent at the end of each month.

  • I’m so excited to work with you!

When we have our discovery call I’ll be able to provide you with an accurate start date.

  • Absolutely!

Once we’re finished your brand you’ll receive a brand snapshot or brand guidelines that outlines everything you need from logo usage, text styles and colour codes.

If we’ve created a beautiful website, you’ll receive video tutorials walking you through how to make changes and updates on your new site.

If you’d rather offload design tasks and free up time, I’m happy to take them off your plate. Ask me about my design retainer services.

  • Yes, of course!!

I have worked with clients all over North America including Ontario, Vancouver and California.

My process is completely virtual allowing me to work with anyone, from anywhere. The internet brings us all together, and that’s a beautiful thing.

  • I totally understand this concern—investing in your brand is a big decision, especially when you're juggling so many responsibilities.

While I can't promise specific revenue numbers (anyone who does should be a red flag), my clients consistently tell me they feel more confident showing up, marketing becomes easier, and they start attracting aligned clients who value their work instead of shopping on price alone.

I can promise the transformation that happens when you stop spending hours second-guessing design choices and start focusing that energy on serving your clients. Many wish they'd made this investment sooner because of how much time and mental energy it freed up.

During our discovery call, we'll talk about your specific goals so you can decide if this feels like the right investment for where your business is now. The best investments align with your values and support your long-term vision—only you can determine if that's what this feels like for you 😊

  • That’s fair! I have a robust FAQ page and there’s a good chance I’ve answered it over there.

“It has been a pleasure collaborating with Shaylyn and witnessing her exceptional organization and creativity.

She has a remarkable ability to brand a business with social media in mind, combining both strategic insight and artistic flair throughout the process.”
